Will be playing in The BLUE BAY Tournament in the PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA (MAR 07-10) @ Location Hainan Island, China on The Jian Lake Blue Bay Golf Course . . . Purse is $2,200,000.00
Savannah Grewal will Tee It Up @ 8:47am China Time . . . (Hainin Island, China is 13 hours ahead of us on tge East Coast.)

She played golf from age 50-83 at River Hills Plantation’s Country Club on Lake Wylie SC where she was a homeowner & charter member until her dementia had her wondering why she was there..
but she loved the game & the friends made and couldn’t understand why I didn’t.
Ruth played at many famous courses such as ones at Pinehurst, NC, SC and down into Florida, was a member of the women’s PGA and was an official hostess at their NC & SC events where she met & watched a lot of players.
Accordingly, she thought my man Arnold Palmer was a womanizer while Tiger was the best.
Back in the early 2000’s I took her to a Master’s practice day and while we walked down a long fairway close to & parallel to Tiger and his playing partner, she blurted out he looked dark-skinned..
and I said Mother, Tiger is Black (thru Dad & Mom being ?Polynesian) and she replied..I don’t care, he’s the best ever!
Amazing since she had watched Tiger on TV for years and obviously wasn’t a racist.

If she played at River Hills in the 80s and 90s then we most likely played together, and played against each other. I was up there nearly every weekend during that time. Small world. I love that course... and I miss those days. 😢 golf and shagging on the beach and everywhere in between.
We played with the Ross family. Love you LBB.

Oh I'm here buddy and bubly and beaming and popping Xanax... and it's only the first round. But can you believe she's tied with Lydia Ko.... and Lydia is thru 13. That's our girl. She's a Tiger and she ain't skeered. We know she's built for this. Hopefully soon, the world will too. 😊🐅🧡💜 in her veins.

We should see her on golf Channel... hopefully the 11pm coverage is live and not taped.
Our gals play in Augusta sat and Sunday. Hope it's not another rainy tournament.
Baseball is fun again... each night's different, each ballpark is different etc so not sure what to make of Tennessee beating k-state last night 15-5. They had 6 homers. Billy Amick hit 2.

Golf Channel showed her make a par but they've taken away her birdie on 3 and made it a par. So gc says -4 thru 14. Who knows.

Ended up showing just two of her shots. None were for birdies. I'll record it tonight because with the later tèe time, if she continues her good play, they'll show her.
Was disappointed to see her finish even on the par 5's. That lone bogey on the inward half sorta stunted a great round. Hopefully lots of good golf and air time in her future.
Time for Lucas to get back on track. Past time to watch any of our Tigers to hoist a trophy... other than Lucas.
Had to tell Haley (Jacob's fiance- maybe) that his Sunday round was unacceptable.
None of our kft guys, or Puerto Rico guys are off to a great start. Still early though.
