this Morning. She is about to play “The Double Bogey Hole” , her Opening Day nemesis, the Par 4, 8th Hole. Alice is 1 Under for the Day . . . 8 Under for the Tournament . . . and Tied for 6th Place.
Finish like the Winner You ARE!!! Crisp and Straight until the cleats are hung up for the day!!!
@ The Portland Classic . . .
Lauren Stephenson will “Tee It Up” @ 12:30pm EDT after her closing hole heroics got her into the Cut . . . She had to birdie 3 Holes in a Row to make it to Weekend Play and Earn a Check . . . and She DID!!!!!!!

We see 👀 you!!! But Alice, you're going to have to shoot a -5 I'm afraid, in order to have a shot tomorrow. Too many -6,7,8 rounds today.

As for Our TIGER (Alice) . . . She’s just given a shot back on Hole #14, but she is still 2 Under on the Day, 9 Under for the Tournament . . . Still in 6th Place and 3 shots back . . . Just needs to find a birdie OR two in the last 4 Holes!!!

Alright, Indian girl bogeyed 18. Puts Alice t3 but she'll be in the final group and will know she has to beat her playing partner... leader only has 4 bogeys whereas Alice has given 7 back, Lisa has given 5 back. The one bad hole on day 1, but she's matching the birdies and that's a good sign.
Anything can happen on Sunday. Hopefully she'll go full on Lucas Glover on her group tomorrow.

is HARD . . . oftentimes the Leader will falter or at least stumble a bit . . . Our Gal just has to be close enough to walk through that door when the crack appears . . . Being “The Hunted” isn’t for everyone . . . I’m pleased at where Our TIGER is perched!!!

Not the start I'd hoped for. Alice has her work cut out now. Claw her way back.
Darn, they had a par posted on 8 at first but changed to a bogey. Yikes, +1 on her opening 9. Hopefully she can make a few birds coming in and at least finish top 5. Even that at the moment looks dim since a lot of players have the easy holes too.
Welp, they've changed her to a par on 9. So she ended front 9 +2 and has since found another bogey. Down to -8 and all the way down to t14. She's fighting just to finish top 10. Wow, didn't expect that.

didn’t go as I envisioned!!! Alice appeared to struggled all day . . . She’s 2 Over on the back nine too . . . with two holes remaining.

Finished bogey/birdie to stay at -7. Wow, went from t3 to t21st. Spent a lot of dough and de sol points. A couple more tournaments but she's got something to figure out during the off-season.
Since we don't get a shot breakdown like PGA or korn ferry, we don't know what she's struggling with. Her strength is the flatsick. So, who knows. I don't think it's mental. She's a tough cookie and from social media, seems to be in a good place.

Indeed she did . . . No one aches at her performance as much as she does . . . but you and I rival the pain her parents are feeling!!!
I was so excited for her possibilities . . .
