of the three that played on that day since he had it going on..with both teams..

wih no INT’s, best presence in pocket, never ran for his life, threw good ball’s without hesitation, had longest run & total yards of the day, etc.

You see..the Alien didn’t know he was suppose to give brownie points up front or be partial for a player’s prior year’s play..

with the favorite QB having already earned such by playing in 15 games winning 9 of 12, winning an ACCG in 1st start, winning 1 of 2 bowls.. thus is expected to start automatically in 2024 which maybe he (Cade) should.

But No, the Alien from Mars was just seeing what he saw during one big fancy scrimmage..where one QB named Pearlman had the best overall day.

Nothing more; nothing Less~

However, an Alien doesn’t know or pick the best QB, Coach DABO does..

thus the reason We pay him $12,000,000 per year to make the right & tough decisions, as he did with the last 5-Star QB that faltered and didn’t carry Clemson to the big dance.

Like you said, the alien would have only seen one fancy scrimmage. There were other scrimmages and a whole bunch of practices the alien did not get to see. I have seen every spring game for the last 22 years and after every single one of them sports writers and other pundits always say they see all sorts of weaknesses with our starters and always see some bench player that just happened to have a good scrimmage and they think said player should all of a sudden be THE GUY. I used to be like that, I would see a player show out in the spring game and think man this dude is going to be a stud, and they end up being a dud instead, and vice versa, so I have learned to just trust the coaches because my opinion does not matter anyway. BUT Bill I will say this, as a proud arm veteran with a useless/worthless opinion, my eyes saw the exact same thing the alien saw. It was certainly an interesting and entertaining sight. So, who knows, the alien might have seen something in the making. GO TIGERS!!!
