Is the Ford Maverick a perfect sweet spot for price? Small pickup like those from the 80s with two rows of seating.

I'm confident enough in myself to not worry about snickers from the big truck guys hauling air 99% of the time.

Great idea!!! I can find one for ~$10k which is perfect for me, and a good starting vehicle when kids get license in a few years.

$20 a day would be less than one month's truck payment for the whole year.

I looked at the Maverick, the back of my Honda Insight has more room.

Yep, you can even use the Home Depot hourly one if needed. I've done that

I thought about that, but price would add up on those camping trips driving 90 miles away. I don't want a big SUV or truck as my regular vehicle, but am considering rental company truck for $150 to cover longer weekends away so that I can keep my daily sedan.

Brad Brownell: Only Larry freaking Shyatt has a WORSE overall winning percentage among Clemson basketball coaches since 1975. Let that sink in. It's Larry Shyatt & then Brad Brownell.

I don't know enough about trucks and maintenance from that long ago. Will likely aim for something newer.

Mavericks are a lot of vehicle for the money...

And once you have a truck, that 10x a year will turn into every week.

You can get a Maverick Tremor for the mid-30's if you want the cooler looking version.

every week. Granted if I'd learn to cook and eat every meal at my house and gave up on going to the gym I could probably get away with never driving.

how about a sedan or small SUV with a towing hitch then go steal McLovin's trailer?

Mostly camping with my 2 kids. Occasional yard supplies. Random donation runs.
