Quality loss = no drop. Possibly just swap places.

They are in the mighty SEC. Little to no droppage. Most voters are SEC homers.

Depending on the game and I really think albarn might win this week... refs and media would hate it but they’re hedging their bets cya if ya will by sneaking allbarn up in the polls just in case.
Given both are undefeated- and a close game, 4th or 5th.

Bama holds Tua out against LSU sparking a national outcry to put LSU and Bama in the CFP to settle it.

They'll have to especially if #1 is the team that takes the L

They're would be no way you could justify one of those at 1 loss being ahead of Clemson, OSU, Oklahoma, AND Penn State if all of those are still unbeaten.
At this point, no need in stressing b/c the only rankings that matter are the CFP Committee's and given we still have games like Bama-LSU, OSU-Penn St, UGA-FL, OU-Baylor, etc, along with the conference title games, the rift-raft will get sorted out. All Clemson just needs to do is focus on Clemson & continue to win.

New Numbers will be introduced

The loser of that game will move to #1, and the winner will move to the newly introduced #0. Even though it's not a technically a number, it just means more.

that game doesn't get dropped at all. Hopefully the Committee sees those type games for what they really should be, Play-in games. Neither of those teams can claim they didn't know what was at stake going into it, and the loser failed to get it done.

or maybe not until the last couple minutes of the 4th quarter.
I recall that being fact anyways. But you are right, one of the worst "big games" in history.

The LSU and Bama matchup will call for the AP Poll Special Rule SEC1. Both will be rewarded with rankings of AA+1(a) and AA+1(b) because the SEC is just that good.

And Clemson will drop another spot just because the SEC is that good.

If Bama loses to LSU w/o Tua, Bama stays #1 & LSU drops to below #2.

The winner will get the permanent #1 spot for the remainder of the season including playoffs and championship game. They will be awarded the championship trophy after the game and since posession is 9/10'ths of the law they will be able to keep it even if they don't play in the championship game.

Mine is not.
LSU will be favored if Tua is less than 100%, which is pretty much guaranteed.
If LSU wins by <20, Bama drops to #4 at the lowest because 'we' want to see Bama playing with Tua in the CFP. >20? Maybe #5.
I think LSU is 21 points better than Bama with Jones playing QB. And Tua doesn't play defense. Maybe dislodging Bama from #1 will shake up the writers a little, because right now it is almost an act of SEC religion to vote Bama #1 whether they are deserving or not.
