Cagnilone and that other pitcher are #1 and #5 pitcher in country plus Cagnilone can hit and play first. But you know the SEC schedule us most difficult in the world! While I think the ranking is ridiculous, it's partly due to their top tier pitching.

Thats my guess. Look at teams with top pitching always get ranked high even if record looks questionable.

Interestingly enough their out of conference mid-week record is worse than their SEC record. All I can infer is that their roster is talented and they are just off to a slow start. Or they just play where it means more....

It's laughable...I'm in groups with them and they say midweek games don't matter....only beating a good not great LSU team 2 out of 3. If we lost 5 or 6 midweek games we'd be out of the top 25.
