the jersey number 72, she said there were several reasons for that choice. One, she wanted to be able to pitch up to, and past a 72 mph velocity. She achieved that already. She also said she wanted to tally 72 or more home runs in her career. She launched Number 66 yesterday. She will have to go on a tear, but 72 is still a possibility. C'mon, Val, you can do it!

I believe Val can do anything. Amazing athlete. Dominant in her sport. They said she hit .466 last year

announcers mentioning it AT LEAST once a game. I think they are doing it to overshadow the fact that she is not having a comparable year this year, due to injuries and whatever else.
