Agreed. There’s absolutely no excuse for this team to not make the NCAA and finished ranked.

Im optomosticstic on a good season making the NCAAT . I think right now with no major injuries they are a NCAAT team, but with a tougher schedule and the ACC being a lot stronger league, it will be right around that 9 to 11 seed until I see enough games. Right after the opener with Winthrop Clemson has consistent games with good teams. The tourney in Ashville with a decent UAB and probably Maryland who is in a lot of preseason top 25 ratings is strong right from the get go. The ACC will be a lot tougher this season. Terrence Oglesby has the ACC the second best conference after the Big 12. Watch out for Wake Forest which beat Alabama in a charity exhibition game last week. They have two of their three players back and two top transers from Gonzaga who are really good coming iAlso Virginia Tech and FSU are going to be a lot better than last season. Still have to get work on kinks getting Clark healthy and back in the starting role is key. Also Coach Brownell is concerned about rebounding and defense which he should be. They could be better than my prediction, but a couple of key injuries of not making it, again. Still a big season for Coach B.

I wish that was the expectation but knowing Neff and the BOT Coach Brownell makes the NCAAT by the slimmest of margins he gets a new contract extension. Probably making the NIT again is all he needs to do...

The Clemson Admin has made it perfectly clear that there are no post season expectations for Men's basketball.

No, they've signaled the complete opposite. The expectation is extremely high. That said, they're more criteria than just wins and losses. Also injuries or other factors are important. I do think without a bid, he'll be replaced.

Applies to hoops too. If you are such a turd that you pull against Clemson, you are not a fan. You need to be pruned. The season hasn’t started and you are loudly pulling for the team to fail over your inability to understand how college sports works. Prune and burn these idiot alter ego fools - get out and stay out. No buts, you are up your own A$$ - to the burn pile with you and your ilk. If you aren’t a fan, go away. Hate is hate - whether you are pro Palestine or anti Dabo - you suck. Booger eating moron.

I legitimately think we'll win the ACC this year. Looking like my man sChief is really taking that next step. I look for him to be a ballhawk on D and make his presence known on the inside. We can play inside out again this year. If you remember, Brad was kinda forced into going big in late December last year... and we took off after that.
With a healthy pj and sChief we can get back on D a lot quicker this year. I'm hoping since we can transition faster that Brad will let our big guys crash the board on offense... change his strategy on the 3 ball instead of bail to D once the shot is taken, leave them on offense. We have the speed in transition.
Going to be fun watching this team. Please support our women bball as I expect them to take off too.

ROTFLMAO
Last year you slobbered all over JK. When the basketball team #### the bed yet again you turned on him. Now you’re slobbering on him again. If we don’t live up to your expectations will you turn on him again?
You should change your handle to clemgalalwaysflipflops.

I agree to an extent and her knowledge of the non revenue sports is superb. But what I said is true. For whatever reason she flip flops on football and men’s basketball.
Whatever the popular narrative on the board is at the time that’s how she flows.

Thanks for the kind words about the non revenue sports. I explained below my stance on bball. I admit I was furious about our losses down the stretch. I do tend to regret posting my anger.
Not sure what you're talking about on football and following the popular opinion. If anything, I've been called a negative nancy and a 1.5 percent. I try not to be a pumper or dumper. Really try hard to look at the facts. So what about football have I said?

I was very bullish on the team last year. Correctly predicted in December what their record would be going into February. So yes, there was no reason we couldn't sustain that momentum in February and March. You are correct, I thought he should have been shown the door after imo faltering bad down the stretch. Most notable the epic fail against loserville... then the Morehead st game I most certainly thought he should be fired. How is that flip floppy?
All that's saying is we had a good team last year. One I thought we should have been a shoe in for ncaa. I don't blame the players. We didn't let him go so I'll support their decision and support the team.
That said, I'm not a bball lady. I'll watch the Tigers but other than acc games, I don't watch it. So, I've always been a believer in the assistants he hired a n d feel they've made a big impact. Also recruiting is showing signs of improvement. That's not flip floppy. If Brad doesn't do well, or team collapse in Feb and we don't make a strong run then we have to move on. Sorry you have a problem with that.

Hopefully Brad can exceed this season's like he does regularly when nobody expects much of anything. That would make for a heckuva run.
Go Tigers!

Sadly, I've "been there" one too many times with false optimism, hopes and dreams of roundball glory. As long as Brownlee is the coach, it's going to be more of this:
