If they did like NC they’d threaten to sue them for punishment, it’s exactly how they got away with it.

I remember back when if the NCAA got a whiff of a violation they'd stick their noses in every crack and find something. They use to be like the EPA or Osha. If they didn't find something wrong they felt they'd failed to do their jobs.
I got a 250 dollar fine by Osha for not having a MDS sheet on sheetrock mud. I had all the paperwork on all the matter used in the compound, water, latex and crushed gypsum, but they didn't buy it.
I was bused by the EPA for the dust on one of my micro trap exhaust ducts. The sample they took wasn't tested to show it contained asbestos and the inspector couldn't explain how much surface he scraped to gather the sample, that would indicate or suggest the thickness of the sample if you had the sample's weight/mass.
He has nothing but dust of unknown compsition.

Anyone expecting Michigan to have some sort of punishment during the season is gonna be disappointed.
I'm sure something will happen but, it most likely won't be until after the season.

They have the big showdown with PSU this weekend and OSU in a few weeks, and they are currently the betting favorite to win the national title. I'm sure there's pressure from the other coaches for the league to do something now, but the B1G wants to bury this for a few months.
