2023 record with DJ

If we had DJ this year as our starting QB I do not believe we would be 5-4. His inability to throw a forward pass or move the pocket would add a few more losses to our record, especially with our OL this year. Cade is definitely not TL16 or DW4 but he is a much improved player compared to DJ at QB. I can’t remember being more unamused sitting in the stands as I was when DJ was the QB. I am glad he’s gone.

We’d be 0-8. Oregon State students aren’t allowed to play for Clemson. It’s one of the very few rules that’s actually enforced.

Not sure it would change much either way. I remember Streeter saying they targeted DJU to be above 60% completion percentage in a game. Last game - Cade was 50% for grand total of 109 yards with 1 TD and 1 pick. Not exactly lighting it up.

Cade will be a serviceable QB when he learns how to move the pocket and run at the right times . More than a couple of times this season he could have ran for the first down but the play ended terribly.
