I had heard his name before but didn't really know much about him so I searched and man, this guy has a wild story.

There's something oddly poetic about a Chinese kid being sent from Asia, not to a prep school, but to a reform school at age 9 in Oneida Kentucky. Perhaps this was by accident, perhaps it was fate. But then going on to found and run the fourth largest company by market cap.

Mind blowing how quickly they have rocketed the last few years. You could have bought NVDA back in 2014 for $4 a share. It’s now $720 a share and it split 4-1 in 2021. Thus in 10 years went from $4 to $2880.

Could have bought 1000 shares for $4000 and would now have almost 2.9 million dollars from $4000.

I know several people who joined Nvidia around 5 years ago right before the stock exploded.

They are multi millionaires just from stock options.

Pretty cool for them.
