It's depressing to me that Jason Aldean

is droning on in the shadow of the sacred Tower on the campus I called home for so many years.
And that the song he's putting everyone to sleep by is a pathetic plagiarism of a great song by a truly great Texan named Willie Hugh Nelson.
The CMTs are truly a trainwreck.

After the tribute to Toby, I will be turning to something else. 2 hours of my life I will never get back. Appreciate the Willie link...that's Country Music as it was used to be. Not sure what I often hear as Country is Country. Now, everybody get off my lawn.

But so far this is probably the worst awards show I’ve ever seen. It’s like Nickelodeon produced it; I’m waiting for someone to get slimed. Comparing any song sung by Sam Hunt to Fulsom County Blues, which is one of the greatest songs ever written, is pretty much the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. If it wasn’t for the fact that Kelsey Balerini is a smoke show this broadcast would be a total waste of time.

and so did Wallen, but all are now fully integrated into my boat day playlist.
I've never been able to get on board with Aldean and that Luke Bryan dude. Neither can sing, both try too hard at being "country," and both seem to have sold out on some fundamental yet unidentifiable level.

I didn't realize shower liners were en vogue.
LOL at "waiting for the slime." That about sums it up. Award shows are going the way of the dodo.
I missed the part where they put Sam Hunt and Folsom in the same sentence. I bet many bailed out at that point. I was long gone by then.

You know what I like about Jason Aldean? He was approached by the Biden campaign for permission to use his song "fly over states" when they were campaigning in middle America.
