So this child "tax credit" thingy.......

Got a letter from the IRS from the IRS, or, well Joe Biden c/o United States Internal Revenue Service. Says I'm getting like a buttload of money EVERY MONTH, cause I got a Greenr-level number of kids. Fine.

My question is this....I normally have our deductions set up a certain way, and we get a certain refund based on that every April (buys Clemson tix/IPTAY, etc.). ANYWAY, letter said they were sending the tax credits ahead of time as a monthly check. BUT, are the sending me the EXCESS, ahead of time, or the whole frigging credit. Because I really don't want to get screwed in April owing, whereas we PLAN for a refund.

my understanding. People that are used to getting refunds might end up owing money and it will be fun to watch.

Don’t worry, they have a plan for when that happens. Basically people will keep the advanced credit and get full credit when they file. It’s expensive buying votes.
