maybe even preferential, for our Institutions and their Leaders to lie to us? To lie to 'We the People'? Or to lie to the fans, the constituents, the community?
It's even Clemson University now....
So it is that all Neff wants is your money. Just your money... and nothing else.
He doesn't care why you send it. He doesn't really care if he provides results or not. He doesn't even care if your receipts are wholly imaginary.
Neff lies to you because he can.... because you let him.
He doesn't want your understanding. He doesn't want your clarity. He doesn't even want your acclimation.
He just wants the blind faith that makes you send your money.
If you feel impassioned, or emboldened, or redeemed when Clemson Basketball wins a game, well... Neff laughs at you. Laughs.
He doesn't need your acclimation... doesn't need your teamwork or support or community. He just needs your money.
Clemson Basketball has whored you out completely. Be well in your faith, even as it is blind.

I agree that his post is over the top. Unfortunately Neff has also invited this kind of vitriol as a necessary tool for making changes that should have been coming. The rancor that will surround our basketball program is now entirely on him.

It is perfectly ok in American society for anyone to support anything that they choose ... if it’s legal of course. You are showing great ignorance with such a ridiculous post about someone you do not know! If you feeling are hurt, grow up and grow a pair.. There is no place like Clemson and nothing like a Clemson man. Those who are paid to administer this institution will do so in the correct way.

I assure my faith in Clemson is certainly not blind. Being a part of it brings tremendous jot to my life. If you get that easily upset over tall kids wearing short pants you might need to rethink a little bit. Last night will have little or no importance on then university. The sun will come up I promise.
