My entry for famous-musician-adjacent claims day

is actually from my brother. He claims his band opened for Jason Isbell-era Drive By Truckers for a couple of shows around 2001 in Athens and Atlanta. Claims Isbell and company all seemed like nice guys.

Speaking of, I saw The 400 unit in Columbia. The opening band needed a place to crash. They stayed with us in our filth nest. The bad was “Johnny Corndawg” and were great.

sucked pretty bad. The suck was so legendary that I can mention it to people I've never met in ATL who are around my age bracket and they'll know the year I'm talking about.

lead singer got irrationally mad at the people in the audience with mustaches. And wouldn't let it go. I didn't even have a mustache, and it was getting uncomfortable.

set, it was just flat and bad for some reason. Not even sure why.
I like(d) Cake, so it was quite a disappointment. Squirrel Nut Zippers came on later and saved the day, though.
