...responsibility, at least in part, for what we have today.

You are in the generation where recruiting was all about preparing guys for the NFL, not about education. You were in the generation that made sure kids understood they could come to your school, prepare for the NFL and have as little requirements for academics as possible.

Actions have consequences.

alot of these legends of the game like saban and brady speak freely after they have cashed out of the game so to speak, we'll see if Belichick does it too.

The need to win irrespective of how winning was accomplished! As long as you didn't get caught everyone just winked and looked the other way...we knew that Georgia, Florida, OSU, Texas, Oklahoma, PSU, Michigan, TAMU, and yes FSU under Bowden...Clemson under Ford were setting their own rules...some like Miami were totally rewriting the rules...they had to be punished by the big boys...ever wonder why Miami coaches quit every other year...not just for a better job! Now that it all has gotten out of hand we can't fix it...Student Athlete...not any more...UofChicago dropped football for the same reason after winning a natty!
