Good news for Parks!! Breathing on his own!!!

There are enough people asking for updates that I keep posting them. Thanks to each and every one of you.
Parks has been extubated!!!! Praise the Lord for small steps! He is still in the ICU and will have several tests today to look at his lungs, but as of right now he is breathing on his own!! His sedation medications have been decreased yesterday and today and he has been awake enough to watch a little TV -- Dumb & Dumber I hear 
Lord, we are so thankful for the blessings of breathing and pray that you will continue to hear our prayers for the healing of Parks' heart!!!
God is never blind to your tears, never deaf to your prayers, never silent to your pain.... He will deliver!

granted everyday are huge steps at times like these. My wife went through an ordeal and one morning her goal on the whiteboard was to go to the bathroom.......it almost got to me! Y'all hang in there and give each other the love and support that will bring you through this and give all the glory to our Father!

that sedation is beginning to be lowered and he is doing something like watching a television, no matter how in and out he is able to follow it. Anything that moves in the direction of "normal" is always a big victory.
