Lowder Vs Skenes

I really wanted WF to close out LSU last night, but the result does lead to an epic pitching matchup tonight. Skenes vs Lowder should be awesome. These are two of the highest rated pitchers in college baseball. Both are projected top 10 picks in the upcoming draft. On paper this game sets up to be epic and I hate to admit it but, LSU looks a lot more comfortable and looser than WF.

Kind of like Randy Johnson vs Tim Lincecum. Wake is gonna have to step it up with RISP to have any chance though; they were pretty poor in that respect last night.

On another note this couldn’t have worked out better for FL. Now it’s unlikely either guy will be available to pitch in the champ series.

Whatever wrecks the winner's staff heading into the championship series...maybe it'll partially work, maybe.
