SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. —A 28-year-old woman was arrested early Wednesday morning when she staggered into a Denny’s, tried to sit at a table with Highway Patrol troopers and ended up falling on the floor, according to a report from the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office.
The report said the woman was pacing back and forth outside the Denny’s on Reidville Road at about 2:45 a.m. before she went inside and approached a table where several troopers were sitting. When she tried to sit down at the table, she fell on the floor, the report said.

Her car was found in the parking lot, taking up two spaces, with a blown tire. One could assume she drove there, but they would have no case for drunk driving. Gotta get something out of it, I assume.
"Reasonable jroberts" says that maybe they should have just called her a cab or taken her home and told her to sleep it off.

While I'm not quite as anti-police as you appear to be in some of your posts, I agree with that sentiment. And it's unfortuante that the motto of "Protect and Serve" has shifted from the people to the government and moreso to the government coffers.
