That's not what I'm hearing from my A&M family. Day started on 3rd base and can't make it home, and Harbaugh can't go a season without running into trouble. I think the top guy is DeBoer.

I see Elko going to Michigan after the season. Feeling like Harbaugh is going to split for the pros and an overall better alignment there over A&M. I don't see Elko at Duke in 2024 regardless.

They'll talk to him, but they're going to shoot their shot with guys like DeBoer and Lanning first. I don't think you'll see them go with anyone without HC experience, but someone who's won at the P5 level (They interviewed Jeff Traylor, but that's not going anywhere).

You do realize Bjork didn't hire Jimbo too, right? That would be LSU's current AD, Scott Woodward who did that. I'm sure they'll make a good hire, just have to see if it works out.

True, but they were also coming off of a 10-1 season where they just missed the playoffs and won the Orange Bowl. Most programs would at that point when it looked like it was on the way up.

Any AD that put serious stock in what happened on the field in 2020 was a bit foolish IMO.
Alot of top players either sat out the entire season or missed games due to covid, some programss could barely field teams on game day, others literally couldn't and had to cancel games. It was a mess to say the least.
