Got it exactly right. The top 6 i mean. What they did was exactly what i thought they would and should have done.

I think Ohio State or Baylor is a coin flip, so I'm okay

with the decision.
I really don't get all the venom on a CLEMSON board regarding Ohio State. They are not a rival; they're not in our conference.
From what I've heard, their fans were pretty classy in the bowl game.

pull for the underdog or the little guy. When comparing the history of OhSt with Baylor or TCU, Baylor and TCU are the little guys, so naturally, I was pulling for one of them to get in ahead of OhSt. Even if my wife is an OhSt grad. Now, I will pull for OhSt against almighty Bama, just as I will pull against every other SEC team in the bowls.
When it comes down to a subjective decision of the POC, between a little guy like Baylor and a historical big time program like OhSt, when the difference really is a coin flip, the historical big time school will get picked every time. Just another reason to go to 8 teams as soon as possible, to eliminate as much of the subjectivity and bias as possible.

but i don't think ohio state should have jumped tcu or baylor..
i think the big 12 got penalized for not having a title game and a clear cut champ..
regardless of who got that spot though i still expect a bama vs oregon final and will be pulling hard for oregon
hope fsu gets beat to a pulp

The gripe is not so much about the Ohio St jump as it is the Miss St jump.
I've got no problem with the top 6.

that was pretty shady
although i can't say I'm surprised about that either..they want stadiums as full as possible and miss state will fill the orange bowl better than mich st fans
georgia tech fans don't travel well at all
their manipulation just so happened to cost us a couple million dollars in the process but ill still take the oklahoma matchup
think we ll be good enough next year to make a new years 6 and a run at the title in 2016 to more than make up for the loss this year

How can you bump TCU? If youre looking at resumes then TCU beats OSU hands down. They had a common opponent in Minnesota, which TCU beat much worse than OSU did. TCU and OSU both have 1 loss, TCU's loss was to the committees #5 team, OSU's loss was to a horrible unranked team. Sorry, the math does not work here. TCU got boned. I don't agree at all.

If the Big XII would have just presented Baylor as their champion like they should have, they may have gotten in. But everyone (including the Big XII) knew that TCU was the better team this year, so it would have been an embarrassment either way for them, so they went with "co-champions" and no champions got in the mix for the title.

Most people are getting hung up with poll logic that doesn't apply anymore. You use to not move if you didn't play or didn't lose even if the teams you beat looked worse and worse as the year went on. Now you can drop week to week based on what other people do by a large amount in the new system. It's better to not even think of it as a poll but each week as a brand new ranking based on season to date.

less, with a new QB, also holding a Heisman candidate to basically no impact. It's hard not to put them in the top 4.

For whipping Wisconsin. Who and the Hell is Wisconsin this year. If you want to count Nebraska (I don't), who did Wisky beat?
