BB pregame show on WCCP had a stat

about Coach K and Brownell having very similar records for the first few
seasons they were coaches at Duke and CU respectively.

I think Coach K was like 85 -49

and Brownell is 88 - 53

or something like that

Did anybody else hear it?

Yes and the criticisms were very similar- won't play zone, boring style, Yada Yada yada.

K almost lost his job in 83 when UVA blasted them by 50 in ACCT. that was his 5th year. He hasn't looked back since.

he's gonna keep pace. In his 4th year, Kryzsqnxgzski finished 3rd in the ACC and made it to the second round of the NCAA tourney. Over the next 22 years, he only finished lower than 3rd in the ACC once, and lower than the sweet 16 3 times in that span.

Is BB about to match that? The ACC is a little deeper now too.

Both are excellent coaches. Duke has supported basketball and Coach K

and the results have been incredible. The question is, will Clemson support basketball and Coach Brownell?
