What would a established head coach like Saban do?

Your team isn't playing up to potential like previous years...

You have a chance to bring back your OC who was exceeding the ability to be a national offensive powerhouse in previous years

or

Continue to give a chance to the current OC you hired who isn't exactly proving to be elite and meeting the expectations of everyone and see what happens in the future risking losing a shot at hiring the previous OC because another school hired him.


I know this is the questions everyone is wanting to ask and know the answer to but to look at it from an outside (other than Clemson) view.......What would someone like Nick Saban do in that situation?

(Side note: Saban may be looking for some new coaches since they don't seem to be the same old 'Bama as before)

When Morris left Eliott was promoted to play caller as this is not in CJS wheelhouse. Coach Scott is a great recruiter but has no history of being a great coordinator in terms of calling plays.
