WR s. Awful

We have to stop blaming every QB—our best receiver is Antonio Williams who isn’t even as good as Amari Rodgers and Amari was with Justyn Ross Tee Higgins _mike Williams was around too -we just have no one and I can’t understand why. We also used to throw to tight ends like Leggett. Supposedly out Tight end the top rated coming out of HS and we threw him once—it’s definitely not our QBs because we couldn’t have missed on 2 straight 5 stars

Me thinks the coach has to make some changes...maybe starting with himself. After all, they've made changes all around Dabo and the problems persist. Either, everybody around him is incompetent, or he may just have to swallow his pride and look at things a bit differently. Just my opinion.

is at these days with the NIL revenue and leased vehicles and money opportunities. When Gavin Newsome rammed that law through in California I knew it was about to me doubly harder for us to recruit the same player we had before. Its just a regional and conference disadvantage for us. Unless we get innovative with our NIL stuff somehow we'll probably continue to fade i'm afraid.

This is why Clemson should make use of the portal. I'm sure there are really good players in there every year.

The Wr's would be fine with the right OC and coaches in general.

I respectfully disagree. They are slow.

Technique is awful. They need to be taught how to get separation.

They are relatively slow. It wouldn't matter if they were blazing though. Some of the best wrs of all time were considered slow.

I disagree… Riley is as good as you are gonna get when it comes to young offensive minds. Most knew it would take a little time to gel and all get on the same page in game situations. And before anyone talks about how great DJ played (seen that too much on here) I watched his game and he still made some very inconsistent throws and under threw some guys.. and the few longer passes he made he had like 10 min in the pocket… this offensive line was pretty good in the run game but not great in pass pro and some of that is on cade just bailing too soon which he will learn with snaps , it was really his first start coming off of practices with the guys he’s playing with. I think we are just THAT bad at the WR position or we have become that bad at developing them bc i have a hard time believing we have missed on all these wrs for this many years. They just don’t get open and until we are a threat actually using the middle Of the field like we were told with the TE and timing routes it’s gonna be the same with the defenses we face. Then comes the argument of using the portal which a different discussion but to me it’s simple… look around college football and how much impact transfers have with new teams… you can recruit all the 4/5 star wr you want but imo that doesn’t make up for a guy that has 2-3 years of college football experience… big difference in an 18 year old and some of these kids that are 22-23 years old

In my opinion if we are gonna stick with this system and not use the portal then we need to rethink how we schedule … I mean we don’t get preseason games and 90% of other teams play cupcakes to start the year so if you are gonna be young at a lot of positions not using the portal , then I feel like we need to go back to scheduling weaker opponents the first couple games to get in somewhat of a rhythm… just a thought

It sure took the Buffaloes a long time to get going. It usually takes 5 to 7 years to start throwing over the middle and being somewhat creative.
