1) Be a top 50 team in the country

2) Win back to back games against decent teams

So if you can do that twice in 14 years, that makes you elite? This team ended the regular season ranked #39.

If Brad Brownell is Elite, then Paul Johnson was Ultra Elite.

how Brad is 40 something and 20 something over the last two years and would have made the Sweet 16 last year had they been put in the tournament. What last years team should have done at the end was destroy the field in the NIT but they bowed out. That, the multiple inexplicable losses each year, and the ACC tournament loss to BC (which maybe was a blessing in the end) have to always be remembered.

Now I will say my stance has moved from feeling he needs ran off, but I'm not to the point that a bad year next year shouldn't get him canned.

12-10 over our last 22 games and only got there because of a 2 game winning streak, albeit 2 very important games.

2 wins don't make a coach elite. Neither do 4 in a row (like if we get to the final 4). It probably means we were matched up favorably, hit some shots, opponents missed shots, or we just got hot.
