I’m not sure I’ve ever used the “c” word in a post. I don’t like what I saw. I’m being critical elsewhere - but calling for him to be suspended for a game and a half is stupid. That kind of violation is usually punished with stair running. I’m confident it won’t be swept under the rug.

I mean, Mafah is significantly better as a pure running back and as a pass blocker. Shipley is good to have to to have the 1-2 punch and tire defenses out. But Mafah is our best back.

Get off Shipley's back. He's our workhorse, He has earned the right to carry the ball into the end zone at least once in the first half against an inferior team like FAU. I'd be pissed too.

Saw him harping on 10 earlier in the game when he got tackled by a guy that could have easily been blocked if 10 had any football IQ.
My guess on that play is the the OL got blown up and he wanted a chance to keep pushing it.

I saw him harp on 10 and 10 was not in a position to have made a difference. Shipley has 4 tries to score from the 2 that I remember. He’s 0/4 with a fumble. His draft stock isn’t going to be affected by his ability to punch in from the 2 on a 3rd effort. He needs to be able to punch it in most of the time regardless of blocking.
