They have Chad Smith as the 50th best OLB in the country. Kelly Bryant is their 44th best QB. Tucker Israel is their 76th best QB.

All recruiting rankings are a joke. No one knows how a kid will develop from age 17/18 to 20/21. Some work out some don't. 3's become stars and 4/5's crash a burn. Ranking of recruits puts no points on the board.

Scout and ESPN are both garbage. Rivals has way more people on the ground and way more coverage than any other site. I definitely wouldn't say recruiting rankings are a joke though because Rivals has at least 3 individuals covering recruiting for each major school and have far more time to analyze these kids than I do. That does give us fans something to get excited about and talk about on the message boards. Ultimately though they can only measure their physical ability almost like the NFL combine. Nobody can for see if someone is going to work hard or throw their talent away.
