putting in Klubnik for a series or two and let him run the option with Shipley and Mafah. It would certainly give ND a look I doubt they have prepared for. It would also give our future opponents something to think about over the rest of the season and into the playoffs. Once those defensive backs start coming up to defend that, they might even consider letting Klubnik throw the football. May even open up things for DJ. Never hurts to have a new wrinkle.

Typically, we'll have a wrinkle like a play or two.

But what we typically start to see this time of year are 1) a few new plays and 2) new plays which are slight variations off the plays we've been running all year to this point.


Best example I can give was the jumbo package. We saw a really basic handoff up the middle turn into wildcat, and then a fake then a pass to Wilkins and then Full back dive to Dexter (after he had been lead blocker a few times).

It was actually fascinating to watch the jumbo package start as 1 play, then change and update to about 5 different plays over 2-3 years.

Agree. Need to run a hurry up offense when short yardage is needed on 3rd down & in red zone.

That Dabo, or any good coach for that matter, would change their approach to a game nine games into the season. Especially Dabo because the Tigers or undefeated
And ranked in the top five!!!

Do you think that the Tigers need to Make major changes like that?

I expect that coach Swinney is focusing on all the players getting better each day rather than changing the system. I may very well be wrong about this,
