.... in December. He enrolled in January. He is a student at Bama. Or, he was. He announced today he is entering the portal. (Probably had a whole lot to do with the redshirt freshman QB at Washington announced he's coming to Bama.)

We all thought that when a coach leaves a player should also be able to leave without penalty. I didn't think about a coach bringing several players with him when he came, thereby sending a message to players where he is going to transfer.

Deion did that last year. And, was roundly criticized for it. Deboer, and other coaches, are walking into team meetings and openly stating that players should leave, but the effect is still the same.

Deboer is in no way doing what Deon did. You comparing the two situations is mental. Alabama had a lot of highly rated guys who are going to try the portal to get paid. Colorado had a bunch of average guys who basically were cut

I shouldn't have implied they were the same.

But, if Deboer wasn't bringing his QB with him, the Sayin wouldn't be leaving.
