I see this argument, but it only seems to benefit the transferring player anymore. There are no more 5-year players at their first school that are worth having on the roster. Either they weren’t good enough to start or there was too much talent in front of them and they were too dumb to fight for playing time elsewhere.

Cade needs some competition to improve if he can.
Vizzina went 3-7 in his senior year of high school and 1-5 in region at a low level of Bama high school ball. Klubnik won the Elite 11 competition over the top QB's in the country and won three state championships at the highest level of Texas Football.

We were calling for a quarterback change last season. There is a obvious answer to why we didn’t get one until the end now. I assume the same thing goes here calling for another quarterback change this season. I don’t see Dabo throwing games on purpose. He wants to win. It’s just hard to say it but Cade gives us the best chance to win.

- that’s it - CDS better bring a transfer in that can compete for a starting job as CK not playing at a level to win and will be a JR and CV a huge question. Too many eggs in one basket.

the decision to RS is to get a class of separation between CK and CV. I think he played a couple snaps in 1. He can play in 3 of the last 4 and RS. It would be nice to be in a situation where he could get some snaps for the future. Helms should have already played given the poor decision making by CK. CL should have never started the game today. He should have been benched based on last play of Miami game. Even if just a series.

Isn’t the question we should be asking is who is evaluating the talent we go after on the offensive side of the ball or who is coaching down the talent we recruit? We look like we are playing in a phone booth and need 8-10 plays to move down the field now.
