Why not a Game Day Guide for Clemson Visitors?

Oct 25, 2013, 1:24 PM

There's always people asking for info on parking, what to do, tailgating, etc in Clemson for games. Is there any organized guide for visitors? We end up answering the same questions over and over...

Has anyone put one together yet?

Include lots of pics, history, stories, and all the
helpful information you can think of, including parking,
tailgating tips, recipes, sundresses, memorabilia,
shopping, bars, restaurants, etc. I'll be in line to
buy an autographed copy.

I get one emailed to me each home game.

Granted it is only for gameday activities, not for the town of Clemson in general.

Yeah, I get those. I was thinking more about hotels

food, bars, how to get into town, where to park, things to see, traditions, etc. Mostly the stuff I try to find out when going to other schools for the first time.

Many schools put together a decent guide.

You could do it and sell advertising in it so it could be

free to the visitors. I would think the Visitor's center would have some.

Was thinking the visitor's center would have one.

And, they could definitely sell advertising along with coupons.

But, don't let WCCP get ahold of it - Deptula will be pawning mobile homes, mattresses, and Palms wine.

I was thinking more of an online guide...much easier and

I don't really like advertising. It makes me think that the recommendations are skewed based on who is paying money to the site...I personally would rather have unbiased information.

great idea! I've had countless visitors ask me what they

need to see and where it is. I always send them up toward Tillman Hall and the wall that has all the military medals in the and tell them to make sure they come back through The Quads to view the "wildlife"~!!

I Would Agree But ClemsonDad Would Want To Send People to
