Successful launch on the largest and most powerful rocket ever to be built.

Booster and Rocket had a successful separation.

The booster successfully reoriented itself and returned to the Gulf where it was to have a soft splash down. However only one engine relit so it entered at full speed, so that was a failure.

The rocket made it to the edge of orbital speed(as planned) and performed two major tests in space. The first was the activation of a payload deployment door. The second test was a propellent transfer in space. They both were successful.

The Rocket had proper engine shutdown and re-entered the atmosphere over the Indian Ocean. However the rocket thrusters did not control the wobble enough to allow engines to be re-lit. Therefore the flaps could not solely stabilize the spaceship to keep the non heat shield side out of the plasma stream.

It apparently broke apart after the feed was lost and is scattered off the coast of Africa.

The first flight was a failure in the atmosphere(and on the pad).

The second flight was successful in putting the rocket into space but was a failure at the point of stage separation.

Each flight is getting closer to full success. The reiterate method of development allows us to follow along and enjoy each flight.

Thanks for the cliff notes. Any chance Elon would work in a "Brad" transfer in space on the next run?
