Why does the CFB only give schools endzone tickets?

Dec 7, 2012, 12:38 PM

I get they like to sell the tickets on their own website, but it seems like they are one of the only bowls that gives exclusively endzone tickets to each school.

It seems like the schools should demand at least some sideline tickets.

Unfortunately it seems to be more common than you think

And it is terrible. Last year at the Orange Bowl I was surprised to actually have sideline seats.

I guess for at least a BCS bowl you could argue

it makes more sense for the bowls since there would be more common interest in the games, from the general public in most cases. It still is kind of wrong, why not give the schools a decent portion of at least decent tickets.
