Get back to me after Tuesday. Committee makes their decision on rankings. As much as we all believe we should be in the CFP, we aren't voting. Considering all the bias against us/ ACC, I will wait and see. Regardless, we must win every game.

This coming Tuesday or any Tuesday prior to the first Sunday in December really means very little. The CFP final poll on Sunday December 4th is the only one that counts. 13 - 0 and the Tigers are in.

Some are concerned that the ACC being the worst major football conference in CFB creates a bad look for Clemson. Personally, I accept that Clemson is consistently the top team in the ACC. And that Clemson's players are generally bored and unmotivated ... just show up, play and find a way to win with vastly superior talent, then dance. I'm good with that in 2022, and I'm optimistic that Clemson will win out and be motivated to perform in the playoffs vs. Ohio St and/or UGA. Go Tigers!

If someone can show me actual numbers of our SOS dropping significantly, I’ll consider it…
But other opponents are on the rise.
Meanwhile, we are about to go to ND and get a common opponent with Ohio St…opportunity abounds.

Nah, just win the next game. If the faux football gods stick it to us, so be it. We’ll still be good. Look at a few heisman awards recently. We knew who deserved the trophy. Clemson will always be tough!! CU will be back in the CFP championship game sooner than later.

Every year everyone cries alligator tears about strength of schedule and it has been part of everyones narrative. Since 2015 thats all we've heard "the ACC is weak". Well every year Clemson has won the ACC Championship since 2015, at 13 - 0 or 12 - 1, they have made the CFP.

The time is coming (especially with expansion) that we will be on the outside looking in due to a crap SOS and ppl will lose their minds. The whole "win and we're in" mantra is fine, but who you've beaten matters, and is about to matter a LOT more when the committee has to dissect a lot more teams.

If Clemson wins they absolutely are not in. Might want to pay attention to the media. They have Clemson ranked anywhere between 4th and 7th. And yes the committee listens to them.
Clemson needs some help to get in. This year is totally different from years past.

An undefeated Clemson will be in the playoffs period. Clemson is not Cincy or UCF. Cincy getting in last year tells you what you need to know about undefeated conference Champs. Clemson has been to all but two CFBs. Clemson has two Championships and played for two more.
Clemson will be in a NYsix bowl with one loss and the CFB with no losses.

I don't like being in the position of having to go undefeated. The teams in 16, 17, and 20 each had a loss. It's hard to go undefeated.

longtallsam®. But rightfully or wrongfully, and based on demographics, regions and numbers of alums, the SEC and B1G are much more respected than the ACC. Still I'm on the same page with those who state an undefeated Clemson goes to the playoffs.

good teams. They’re Wake and Cuse, not real football teams. But it doesn’t matter, because we will be undefeated and get into the playoff, and then it’s all up to us. SOS doesn’t matter, winning does. Sure the conference being crap could hurt recruiting a little, and conference contracts and our share, etc, but an easy conference means it’s easier to win them all and get it. Doesn’t leave wiggle room for a loss, but that’s ok.
