Why didnt we just inbound the ball normally on the last play

Why did we try such a long pass? There was 8.7 seconds left on the clock.

Once again this team finds ways to lose to good teams.

Hopefully next year they can find some freshman that have "IT" and can play in close games.

Good effort but another game we let slip away.

yeah I didnt get that either. why didnt we deny wood the ball late too when they inbounded. have a guy dog him

As soon as hall split to the side line it did not look good.

I have siad this for a 100 years...clemson does not play smart basketball in critical parts of the game..

court without contesting and getting the clock started. That one time it nearly made it to the 3 pt line! And yes, that inbounds play looked doomed from the start. Hall was going to have a hard time maneuvering out of that slip or no slip and probably a wild 3 pt attempt was on the way.

there were only 5 team fouls against us. Even with 8.7 seconds left, we had to try to run around State to not get intentionally fouled...and then have to inbound it a couple more times with the clock running out. Then they could have just fouled us and sent us to the line for a 1 and 1.

It was a smart play call, just not executed as you would hope. It's hard getting the ball all the way up the court and shooting off a clean 3 when the other team is intentionally trying to hack you!

....and it did not help Clemson had no time outs left. The call was on the money just not executed well.
