Recruit pro set personnel and just run a pro style O?Works on NFL. Dang sure working for Kirby. Just line up and grind the defense to powder. Make them stack the box to stop the run then burn them with the pass. UGA demoralizes defenses with their relentless grinding ground game.

Why not? We were on top of the world and Kirby was having crap years. How he get the talent and we didn't? Don't say "bagmen" because both schools had them.

Because our team was built around skill players, particularly quarterbacks/receivers. Georgia has typically been built around lineman and running backs.

You want to compare out receivers and UGA receivers since Kirby has been there? They have indeed been deficient at QB. They won two straight Natties with a walk on QB. That seems to be a testament to that offense.

We can't run the type of offense Georgia does because we don't have the type of players Georgia does.

I just told you why. Our offense, all the way back to the Chad Morris days, has been geared around quarterbacks and receivers, so that was our emphasis in recruiting. Georgia's offense has been geared around lineman and running backs, so that was Georgia's emphasis in recruiting.

UGA has landed big time receivers as well. Why can't we target and emphasize QB, RB, OP, and receivers?

We do target and emphasize big time quarterbacks, running backs, and receivers. They just simply don't want to come play here.

We’ve missed on talent identification and development. They are elite in recruiting. We’ve been good but not elite, especially on offense.

Pros tend to follow college over time and not other way around. College players learn systems and perform better in their systems. Belichick is sucking wind in his pro style. Panthers suck in pro style. Baltimore, Jags, Bengals, Cheifs and others moving to RPO and more college style is better for players and improving their W-L.

set as their base, which is Clemson's "base" set as well.
Georgia before Bowers got hurt had run a lot of 12 personnel[Bowers split a good bit] over the last ~3 years or so it's been reported.
I saw a highlight earlier of UGA's first touchdown and it was out of an 11 personnel look.

Georgia has been a power running team for decades and linemen and backs line up to go there and we are not that team.

Maybe we should be whatever they are. Their offense seems to actually work. UGA has not been a power run time since Dooley. They have been a run first balanced Offense. They have a power run game, but they are not sold out to it. They do both. Take what the D gives. The D has to pick it's venom, because either way it will get bit.
