I get this a lot. "Don't you have a coot bored you stupid coot!!". So gather 'round boys and girls...story time with uncle The_USC.
I had an uncle that was a big Clem fan. He was great. He'd give you the shirt off his back without asking. He was a crazy man, but a great man. He either posted on here or lurked here. We talked crap all the time. And most of the time, it would start with "I saw on t-net...". I knew then it was on. He didn't live close, so talking crap about USC/Clem was a way we stayed in contact. He died the summer before we went on the 5 game streak. I always joke that he made a deal with God to take him home before something like that happened. He would have loved me giving him crap over those 5 years, just like I would have love him giving me crap over those 7 years and NCs. As I've grown older, I miss him more. A lot of ya'll remind me of him. I've got friends that are Clem fans, coworkers, and family members. Just
not the same. So I just figured I'd start up an account and get back what I've missed for years.

I can appreciate your fandom and the fun you had going back and forth with your Uncle. Sorry for your loss, sounds like you guys really enjoyed the playful banter even though it may have stung a little bit deep down inside lol.
I have family in SC and several Uncles who are Gamecock fans....we really do enjoy giving each other a little bit of grief every year mostly around Thanksgiving. I will forever cherish those days, knowing that someday I will miss it badly.

Honestly, I will never reach his level...as I hate Clemson and generally hope for failure across all Clemson sports programs. I'm not sure he's on that same level. But I will be objective.
