They lost to a team (lsu) that was beaten by a team we’ve beaten (fsu) . What am I missing other thank sec bias?

You're better than that Keith. If the situation had been reversed and we had lost a close game to Tenn or LSU while Bama got anally raped by an otherwise very average 5-3 Notre Dame that had recently lost to STANFORD, we would be ranked ahead of them.
Fact is, we're lucky to be where we're at considering how unimpressive we've been against some decent (but by no means great) teams this season.

I would agree with that sentiment if it was how you laid it out, but Bama has 2 L's.
If you're going eye test, I would go Bama all day because they have the better QB but with their schedule it's laughable that Bama is in the top 10.

Oregon losing by a ton in the season opener to the defending national champions and the close to undisputed #1 team and then dominating the rest of the season is 100% better than losing by a ton 2 weeks ago to a 3 loss team who barely beat Navy the next week

I agree with you and others indicating no problem with Alabama jumping us in the various Polls. Our loss to ND, our other unimpressive showings, and our fading resume (thanks to other formerly high ranked ACC rivals continuing to lose as the season comes to a close).
In fact, I think we are lucky to be where we are. We still have an outside chance to earn our way into this year's CFB Playoffs. And if we continue to win, as well as defeat a highly ranked UNC team in the ACC Championship game, we will jump Alabama (their best wins at this point are a close win against a fading Texas team, and a win against a fading Mississippi St team--and their last 2 games are against unimpressive competition. If we win out, our overall resume and ACC Championionship should allow us to jump over several other Top Ten teams as they either lose regular season games, or lose Conference Championship games. And if FL St and ND continue to win, our SOS should also gain some traction for us to "potentially" move back into the CFB Playoff Top Four. Likely, definitely NOT--but still clearly a possibility!

Because in the ranking process of getting down to the best 4 teams, they believe Alabama is still better than Clemson.

Both at Bama or on a neutral field. Bama is the 2nd best team in the SEC behind UGA. The other 2 are not as good as their hype.

We'll jump them right back if we win out and beat UNC, the extra game and being a Conf champ will over take that. We just need to finish this season winning every game by multiple TD's and show the committee we're worthy. Leave No Doubt!
