I.didnt say it wouldn't struggle against VTs. I said their O is clutch when it matters. You can win every game by a point and it is still a win.

yeah. but you had them scoring more against VT than they did against UNC. i dont see that happening. The fact that they are having a blackout makes me more and more confident about Tech winning.

Yes and your point? Football does not always work that way. Miami's scored more against Cuse than we did. LSU score more against Auburn than we did. Missouri scored more against UGA than they did against SC. Does that mean SC will beat UGA?

It is a good gauge when both of us played the same team two weeks in a row. we played UNC the week before miami did. Miami has a legit defense, but their offense leaves a lot to be desired. that is my only point.

Well they have a better QB and a better RB than vT. I would argue that they have the better O all around. Y'all did put up yards against us but could not score till the end when the game was out of reach. I like VT and love yalls coach. I just believe Miami has more talent and is the better team. Just my opinion and we will know more after Saturday night. Good luck to y'all and glad to see Miami face a real challenge to see what they are made of.

I think you could make an argument for either one. But I'm personally not sold yet on Josh Jackson. I think Jackson will be better than Rosier long term. But right now, I think they're right about on the same level. In fact, statistically, it's uncanny how similar their stats are.
Rosier: 143-252 2071 yds 17 TDs 4 INTs. 12 sacks
Jackson: 149-239 2032 yds 17 TDs 4 INTs 12 sacks
The stats seem to give a slight nod to Jackson (slightly more completions on few passes and slightly more YPA). But Jackson has faced quite a few bad defenses.

I could be biased but I think VT wins 24-13. Miami offense hasnt proven they can move the ball against some of the worst defenses. VT offense is still a work in progress and show flashes sometimes, but the VT defense is miles better this year.

Miami had more yards because well, VT offense didnt have the ball that often when there was 2 defensive tds and one special teams touchdown.

LOL miami had their starters in all game because the game came down to the last possession. Our 2nd and 3rd stringers were in with 8:20 left in the 3rd quarter. The Duke-VT game is a wash literally because it was a case of getting through the game with a win and no injuries in terrible weather.

You can make all the excuses you want but the fact is y'all are about even on O. You may believe what you want to though and ofcourse you will be biased as I am with Clemson. Miami is a dang good football team and you better hope your team respects them more than you do. Good luck Saturday. Come back when the game is over we will see who is right. You never know till you play the game.

But since you came back to debate my point I see no need to sugar coat it anymore. Clemson absolutely dominated VPI&SU. It was 24-3 after 3 quarters. And that was in your house, in a night game, national television, prime time, College Gameday, Enter Sandbag, and all that crap...yet the best you could manage was 3 lousy points before we started putting our defensive backups' backups in the game.
I hope y'all do get a re-match because it will give us the easiest path to the ACC Championship, it's kind of like a bye week. So take your beat up lunch pail and no-talent offense back to hokiland and whatever message board you came from and have fun with your hokihiers talking about miami or whoever you play next because you don't want any more from Clemson. Your fan base showed the ultimate disrespect and lack of class once in our stadium and we won't let it happen again. If we meet in Charlotte, it's going to be worse the 2nd time around.

thanks for showing your lack of intelligence in regards to football. Did you watch the game? VT had the ball only down 24-10 and the momentum until our idiot receiver dropped the pass off his helmet into O'Daniel's hands. That was the nail after that. The game wasnt a runaway, but Clemson was in control the whole game. Anytime we were starting to get momentum, we had a mental breakdown. That will be different come ACC Championship game because there wont be players in the wrong position due to more game experience. Not to mention the game against Clemson was the first game back for Adonis Alexander (VT's best CB). I wont say we would beat Clemson the 2nd meeting, but I believe we will have a better chance for multiple reasons than the first meeting.

Y'all also had 3 turnovers with one going for 6. That never helps. Y'all out gained us a little as well. Though when we get the lead we tend to play to hold onto it this year.

I have VT.
Miami can not stop the run (they don't tackle well in general). Miami's QB is notorious for getting off to a late start and the backup is garbage. That will not go well against Fuentes and Foster coached O/D. Plus, I have not seen much out of the RBs once Miami's #1 RB went down (out for the season).

I rarely pull for Miami but would like to see Miami go undefeated until the ACCCG. We win out and play them in Charlotte and beat the brakes off them. Crack the top 4 and play in the semi-finals. That and I don't want to have to see VT again for the 3rd time in a calendar year.

I don't like VT,but I respect their new coach and how he has rebuilt that program overnight. VT wins this one. I hope we can beat NCSU and if so, we will meet VT in the ACCCG. That means we have to beat a solid VT team twice this year. That is a tough assignment IMO.
