Who would you be having meetings with behind closed doors?

Hopefully there are some going on. If you were in charge, how would you proceed?

I would first get in touch with FSU to discuss/exchange future plans. From this, I would push for the two of us to contact NCSU and VT to meet and discuss a package deal we could work out to approach the SEC. Selling points would be the two big schools and two new states.

Based on results of those meetings, I would try to get the four of us to approach UVa and UNC (since they are the main guys that will hurt due to their rivals leaving). From this, I would see if they could do a similar behind closed door meeting with two other folks (GT and Pitt), and have them approach the Big Whatever.

Then work to get everyone to agree to just abolish the ACC to prevent exit fees. Not sure how many guys have to leave, but hopefully these 8 schools would be enough. If there has to be more than 8, then have to rethink who needs to be added, of if a similar deal needs to happen with the Big 12 (but this would seem more difficult).

What would you do? Don't feel we need to be too concerned, but certainly we need to start making some contingency plans. Suggestions?
