1950 with the James Dean crowd and again about the time just before the peak of lowriding. My project car has a rise in the front due to the lazyask owner not changing the springs which supported a huge V8 after installing a 5 cyl diesel in the car.

I have spring compressors to do the work and I'm glad you reminded me. Doing it with the fenders off in the shop would be a great time.
