I would like to see Hawkins there. Get some pop in the lineup.

Yep he would he my guess. I think this team is going to do some special things. I really really like our outfield and I would say 3rd and SS could be the best combo in the nation.

We will be one of the best defensive teams in the nation I believe. Don’t forget Greene at 2nd base. Hopefully Byrd is a vacuum over there at 1st. Or hopefully we don’t have to find out lol all good throws!

I think we can find pop without having to strike out that many times. It’ll look too much like last year. We need guys who will hit the ball to all fields consistently and reduce strikeouts. As much as we have walked since monte got here it shouldnt just take bombs to score people, it takes putting the ball in play to at least move runners.

think Teo will play CF, with meredith in LF because of Teo's better arm. Hall may well play 3B, with byrd at 1B. lots of RF/Dh candidates... hawkins, sharpe, Fairy, etc

It appears Grayson Byrd will start at 1st. Davis sharpe and Adam hackenberg can also play 1st. It’s good Sharpe hits righty so monte can PH him for Byrd when lefties are throwing. Unless Byrd is just tearing the cover off the ball. Sam Hall gives a lot of versatility and enables coach to come up with different lineups to play the “hot bat”

So if it’s
LF- Meredith CF- Teo RF- Hall DH- Hackenburg? C- Wilkie 1B- Byrd 2B- Greene SS- Davidson 3B- Hawkins? Then if Byrd comes to 3B does Hackenburg take over at 1B then if so who is the DH?
SP- Crawford Henny Strider
Wk day- Sharpe? Weatherly? Wro?
So many questions. If Spiers is the closer who will be the set up guys? Askew? Wro? Raff? Sharpe? Who will be the first guys outta the pen?

I think Michael Greene May play RF while Sam Hall plays 3rd. If Greene slumps then move Hall to RF and put Hawkins at 3rd or like u said, Byrd back to 3rd and hackenberg at 1st. So many options

Hall will be playing 3B initially

Byrd has moved to 1B. Greene and Logan up the middle, Wilkie behind the plate.
OF looks like Kier and Teo with the RF spot left to be claimed. Monte might start several guys there early and see who sticks. Hawkins, Hackenberg among others who will DH. Seems like there’s a bunch of options.

Byrd is definitely set to start at first base but he is not close to Cox and Williams defensively. Not many are but this will be as much a negative defensively as right field will be a positive. Parker is a very good infielder, will play shortstop next year. I believe we would be stronger with Parker at third and Hall in the outfield. Hawkins and Teodosio just do not put the ball in play often enough. You can't play those who strike out more than half of the at bats. Really hate it for Hawkins because he was a great player before his injury. We certainly have more options on the mound and with position players, and hopefully we can give all a shot and figure it out after a few weeks.
