So get this....I try to take the family to a nice little

sandwich shop for dinner tonight....get there, park, walk up and WTPh---the place is out of business....no biggie normally, right? So then, wife of Obed says "Hey, let's just go next door".
Next door, my friends, is 5 Guys.
I try to say no, but kids have keyed in on it and are all "yeahhhhh, 5 guys" so whatever, I relent. Tell the wife to go start ordering while I go TCOB in the bathroom.
I come out as she's wrapping up the order, order my burger, and get my total. THIRTY-EIGHT MF DOLLARS. FOR TWO ADULTS, AND TWO KIDS......AT A FREAKING BURGER JOINT.
Anyway, the order comes out. The kids hotdogs suck #### and they immediately refuse to eat them. It's a good thing then that my wife ordered a large fry and and a medium fry because they had 42 pounds of greasy-azz fries to munch on while the $6 hot dogs they didn't eat just sat there. (wife claimed ignorance on the fry portions or I'm assuming she would have ordered just one small order of those peanut oil soaked grease bombs).
Oh yeah, 2 hours later, I can already feel the green apple splatters coming on.
How anyone still goes to this place by choice, I have no clue.

Greatest hangover food ever.
Otherwise I avoid like Obeds to water.
PS - Drove the Cobra this weekend. No body, but it moves under it's own power for the first time ever.

at least you leave 5G full, impending squirts notwithstanding. BGR you get a burger just a tad bit larger than a Krystal, and 8-10 fries for $14+. I swear the bun is about the size of a can of Skoal. Not sure about kids meals, but you'd burn over $40 and want to stop at Sonic on the way home for a milkshake.
You coulda had Cook-Out and fed everybody for about $15.
