The reality is this ….

Clemson baseball was way ahead of schedule this year….

Masterful coaching by Bakich….

We did NOT have the pitching staff to win the way we did….

Last night was a must win….
It didn’t happen….

The umps removed one of our best ..
Cam would’ve bat again last night and probably would’ve made a difference today….


Regardless-
Great season ….gutsy team ..that played above their heads and won an ACC championship…

The problem we have is tbat we have witnessed this before. ACC title early in tenure and then nothing. The call to Ammons last night was and still is highly questionable. This kid is not good. Local kid, but geez never pitched a clean inning at Clemson and he's our closer?? Bases loaded no outs and we gamble all night but then we don't even try to bunt?? ACC title great, but again we have watched this before. My thoughts are ok now Backich prove to us that you're not just another Monte Lee. I think that's fair. So call me not impressed right now.
