It is a necessary thing. I believe DW4 was placed on the same list when he had all of his legal issues.

There was talk of exempt list use, but Watson ended up on Houston's 53-man roster all year as a healthy scratch in 2021 and then was suspended for over half of his first season with Cleveland.

Why are so many NFL players so stupid. They seem to commit crimes at a higher rate than the general population, and they’re in a position of throwing away millions of dollars because of their uncontrolled behavior.
Just go to work, do your job, make millions of dollars, and keep your nose out of trouble. What utter fools these guys are?
