10 wins ain't nothing these days.....

These days with the 12 game regular season and conference championship games, 10 wins don't mean squat.

We should be trying to get to 11 wins every year, with every once in a while winning 12, 13, or 14.

Back to back 10 win seasons is a very good accomplishment and shows continued progress.

I disagree entirely. Winning in College Football is hard enough.

2008 20/120 Div 1 Team with double digit wins
2009 21/120
2010 24/120
2011 26/124

ACC since 2008 VT only team to go back to back years
SEC since 2008 UF, Alabama, LSU, and Ark

The percentage of ten win teams is around 20% percent each year.

The company of the teams above would be a great group to be in (in my opinion).

A quick check of our history indicates 7 - 10 win seasons

Oct 10, 2012, 2:39 PM

total.

So heck yeah, back to back 10 win seasons are a huge accomplishment. Furthermore, there are only 20 teams in Div 1 football who have won 10 games per season 10 or more times in their history. Oklahoma is #1 with 33 - 10 win seasons.

10 win seasons were almost impossible before the mid 1940's since most teams played less games than that even if they went to a bowl.

Oh yeah, 10 wins is a good thing any way you slice it.
