Were the Raleigh Rent-A-Refs at the OB ever held accountable

for this?
Following a 2nd QTR completion to Sterling Shepard for 27 yards, Clemson was flagged 15 Yards for a Sideline Interference penalty despite no warning (either Formal or Informal) The rule, revised in 2015, requires that a warning and two five-yard penalties be issued before a 15-yard penalty is assessed. There was no warning previously assessed to the Clemson sideline before the call, nor were any conversations held between the coaches and officials on the subject at any time. Later in the game, with Bob Stoops practically standing on the Orange painted at Midfield, Oklahoma was issued a Sideline Warning. Repeated requests for an explanation by Head Coach Dabo Swinney were ignored.

Same ref that called the interference penalty that was 3 yards out of bounds.

call our final TO because the clock had ticked down to 6 seconds...should have stopped at 12 and restarted after the ball was spotted, it didn't...Dabo argued and got 3 of the 6 seconds back but not the TO...1:08 mark

Pretty sure I remember one of the deep sideline refs bumping into a player or coach while backpedaling further down the field.

And I'm the only one who gave context to the one in question.
Could have confused it with others, but that's the only sideline interference call that friends from home immediately texted me asking what happened.
Do you have a better explanation?

What's with the hostility?

There's a lot of plays involved in a football game, and you'd be hard pressed to find someone who remembers every snap perfectly. Looked to me like he was just throwing out a possible explanation to the OP's question. Relax.
