What’s up with Wccp?

Have tried to tune in from North Cyprus for the past three days at this time and it’s been a national show each time? Who is taking off on the week before the opening college football weekend of the season?

But you would think they could at least get one of the local guys to fill in if the hosts had to take a vacation this week. Sucked to turn to it on and hear them talking about how Denver was a Bronco town and this other town was a hockey town, etc.

Have been a long time listener to WCCP but I just cant listen much anymore. I enjoy Clemson football like everyone here but how can you listen to the same topic from 6am-7pm each day. It just gets stale very quickly and I think that the hosts dont really do anything "outside of the box" to make it interesting.

Also, WCCP is in a tough spot as they are the Flagship station so I am certain that they cant say anything too critical. There are times and situations (Brownell??) where it is OK to be honest and call people out. It makes for better radio if you can talk the good and the bad but WCCP is in a tough spot here.
