Cole Stoudt does not seem to care for the term

"go to receiver".
Like his approach.
Taken from article written by Nikki Steele.
Cole Stoudt on who will be his go-to receiver:
“All of them. I’ve got chemistry with all of them that we’ve been building over the summer. It’s just that I can use all of them,” Stoudt said. “The weapons that we have are something that you probably can’t find anywhere else. All of them are going to be go to guys, because I trust them the coaches trust them that they are going to make the play and that they are going to be there.”

Adam Humphries, Andre Ellington, Bryant, a little of Mike Williams, were Tajh's go to receivers. So Stoudt is similar to Tajh in this aspect.

Tajh went with the guy who was hot at the time. At different points in his career, all of those receivers listed seemed to be the guy he would look to in order to move those chains. Allen, Hopkins, and Watkins all really stick out in my mind.

Maybe it was because of Alexander but he seemed to really favor Mile Williams in the spring game.

Yeah, maybe a mismatch for Alexander and Williams, but IMO he believes in a disciplined approach - which would be to go through his reads - taking the best option of what the defense offers (not noting the number on the jersey, just the color).

Great viewpoint of Stoudt. I agree with the viewpoint of the type of qb he will be.

not have nearly the number of wow plays, but he'll have a more disciplined approach and move the chains. Feeling very good about him under center.

If you watch Cole make his reads, you'll notice how to finds the open guy and tends NOT to lock on to a single receiver. THAT is part of what I like about Cole. He finds his guy and finds him fast. Can't wait to watch this unfold.

Agree. Tajh wasted Martavis' talent last year.

Martavis may start for Steelers some time this season yet Tajh did not spread it around. No complaints about Sammy but more options helps everyone and the team.

Wrong, Tajh didn't waste Bryant's talent...

Tajh went to him over the last 2/3rds of the season when Bryant stepped up his play. Tajh did spread the ball around. Just stop telling lies to bash a great Clemson player. The facts and history, do not support your false assertion.

giving up the starting job either. I think DW has a long row to hoe if he's going to take over at QB.
Everybody knows how talented DW is but those who think he will take over early and hold onto the position are ignoring Cole's focus and determination much less his skill development and maturity.

I've been preaching that message for quite a while now. Nobody seems to listen. They will be chanting Cole Stoudt's praises before game 5.
