What would you do?

Mar 26, 2013, 9:44 PM

If Boyd is seriously in consideration for the Heisman, and I think that he could be, do we leave him in when we have a good lead and let him pad his stats. Or, do we get the backups as many snaps as possible, because we're a twisted ankle away from having a QB with no real game experience.

I would love to see Boyd get as many snaps as possible, but it would be better for the team to get the backups some experience.

Heisman Trophy is real pretty

Mar 26, 2013, 9:46 PM

but if you're the leader of a team..... The team is first and foremost. Not your stats.

what is best for the team.

I think he stays in the whole game

unless we have a 28 point lead with 7 minutes left

It'll take care of itself

Mar 26, 2013, 10:30 PM

Didn't really excessively lead him in to pad stats last year, yet he still put up ridiculous numbers...

If we play our game, he will naturally put up bigger numbers than any other QB, but the most important number will be the smallest numerical stat he's got...0 L'S!!!

IF we go undefeated, it will be hard to take it from him period...if we have one loss, it will depend on who else is in the running and his stats.

Go Tigers

We take care of Boyd 1st ... And Boyd takes care of Business

Ask yourself this ... how often do sub QB's play? ... except for last series.

Heisman trophy is a great reward/award for one man,

Mar 27, 2013, 6:37 AM

but, NC trophy rewards the entire Tiger Nation, team and fans! I say, take care of Tajh first, could win BOTH!!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I'm with Dabo on this.

Mar 27, 2013, 9:04 AM

He took CJ out during a Costal (or one of those lightweights') game and said nobody was padding their stats against a lesser opponent.

I'd say leave Tajh in against anybody ranked in the top 30 and take him out after he gains 250 in the air against the rest. Run up the score on ACC opponents at least by four touchdowns without showing them anything new.

God help USuCk, FSU, UGAy, GT and anybody from North Carolina if we get them down. I wouldn't let up for love nor money.

I'd do enough damage to UNCheat to make Swaffie cry.
